Book Club!

Welcome Students! Book Club has started here at DeLay.We will be reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. You will need to check out, borrow or purchase your own copy of this book in order to participate in book club. Walmart carries them for less than $6.00 a copy if you'd like to own your own!

We will meet every other Monday at 8:15am starting today. If you would like to come to the meetings you'll need to get a permission form from Mrs. Fletcher. If you can't come to the meetings, you can still read the book and participate via the Online Book Club.

Book Club is Coming!

Book Club will have its first meeting on Monday, January 23rd at 8:15 in the morning. Come to the library and find out what we're going to read first!

DMS Bookmark Contest Begins Today!

The DeLay Middle School Bookmark Contest begins today! Please stop in for an entry form.

Remember, the bookmark:
1. Must be in your original artwork, no copying!
2. Must be in color.
3. Must promote reading at DeLay Middle School.
4. Must be on the entry form.
5. Must have a name on it (there is space on the form for your name and grade.)
6. Must be turned in on time--no late entries will be accepted.

The contest ends on October 12th and voting will occur during Teen Read Week! The top 2 winning bookmarks will be printed and will be available in our library.
