The DeLay Middle School Bookmark Contest begins today! Please stop in for an entry form.
Remember, the bookmark:
1. Must be in your original artwork, no copying!
2. Must be in color.
3. Must promote reading at DeLay Middle School.
4. Must be on the entry form.
5. Must have a name on it (there is space on the form for your name and grade.)
6. Must be turned in on time--no late entries will be accepted.
The contest ends on October 12th and voting will occur during Teen Read Week! The top 2 winning bookmarks will be printed and will be available in our library.

Welcome to the very first post! I am your new librarian, Mrs. Fletcher! I hope you find this blog a fun and interesting source for new books, interesting authors, and general information about our wonderful library.
I hope to make this blog something that you want to read regularly and I will do my best to keep it updated as we make our way through the school year. It is a work in progress, as am I, but I hope you find it an enjoyable blog. I am always happy for suggestions of books you'd like to see on our shelves or suggestions on how to make the library better.
